Mixed together, this cornstarch kit soothes skin and eases irritation. It also can be used as a cooling soothing face mask, leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed.
Usage
Using the mother of Pearl dish and spoon provided, mix one spoon of cornstarch with two spoons of rose water to form a light paste and apply to the face and neck. After 10-15 minutes gently massage the mask into the skin for a few minutes. Add 1-2 drops of rose water into warm water and rinse the mask off thoroughly. Once face is dry, moisturise as usual. Cornstarch first originated in Native American culture but many centuries ago Arabic women discovered how effectively it soothes the skin. Through generations they have used it during the long hot summers in Saudi Arabia as mothers teach their daughters how this simple, pure product can ease the irritation of heat rash. We have updated this traditional practice by mixing the cornstarch with rose water to form a cooling face mask.
